Todd Resser is the President of Southwest Equipment Parts (SEP) based in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
He began his career in 1996 at a Kobelco, Samsung, Koehring and Barko dealership in Tacoma, Washington. He has experience at every level of an OEM dealership; starting out as a parts runner, to service liaison, to Parts Manager and three years as General Manager.
In 2006 he relocated to Southern California to manage a branch of a used parts company.
In 2008, he began development of a New aftermarket product portfolio for this company. Through this development of products, he traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe developing and building relationships with factories to supply high quality alternative replacement components and parts. His expertise lies with hydraulic excavator components. Specifically; final drives, travel motors, swing bearings, swing motors, swing gearboxes and main hydraulic pumps.
In 2010, he collaborated with Richard Finch and Robert Finch of Plant Parts Ltd on the creation of the Final Drive System, the most comprehensive final drive database in the world.
In 2015, he was the Project Manager for a cloud based ERP software conversion. He gained experience at every level of the process. From data mapping, migration, validation to going live; as well as IT support following deployment.
In 2016, he formed his own Corporation, Southwest Equipment Parts (SEP).
SEP specializes in wholesale distribution of hydraulic excavator components and parts. Customers are supported by his 21 years of experience in buying and selling high quality Japanese and Korean excavator components and parts.
